Edmund L. Vollmer, CPA

Ed Vollmer founded our firm in 1963. Ed received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Occidental College in 1944. After serving in the Marines during World War II and the Korean Conflict as a Captain, he returned to Visalia and the Tulare County area in which he was raised. He was President of the Visalia Chamber of Commerce in 1963 and Man of the Year in 1971. During the years 1965 to 1973, Ed served Visalia as Vice Mayor and as Mayor.

Ed provides services to clients of the firm in areas including income, gift, and estate taxation, auditing and preparation of financial statements, and management consulting. Ed has extensive experience in providing gift and estate tax planning, and working with agricultural clients. For more than forty years, Ed has been involved with providing auditing services for agricultural cooperatives and is a member of the National Society of Accountants for Cooperative (NSAC).

In addition to the NSAC, other professional organizations in which Ed is active include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Tulare Kings Counties Estate Planning Council. Ed is also active in many community activities including serving on the Boards of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Visalia and the Kaweah Delta Hospital Foundation.
